✨Senior Spotlight✨
As we enter into recital week, we’re taking the time to spotlight our wonderful seniors! Up first, Kieriahna Goodin!

I am attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout majoring in psychology with plans to become a Child Life Specialist. I plan to continue teaching at a studio near Stout.

1. How old were you when you started dance?
- I started dancing before I turned one years old.
2. What made you want to continue dancing?
- I grew up dancing and it was always a big part of my life. I love getting to express myself and making connections with others.
3. What’s your favorite pre competition snack/drink?
- Goldfish and Bubbl’r
4. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to younger dancers?
- Dance because it’s what you love. Don’t let the pressure of not getting everything right get in the way. Your best doesn’t need to be the same as someone else’s best. Make connections with other dancers and teammates, they will become your second family. Most importantly, don’t stress yourself out and just have fun.
5. What is your favorite memory from dance?
- I love hanging out with my friends at competitions and in class. I also love ‘tap after dark’.
6. What will you miss the most?
- The family I have made here. I have grown up at this studio and gained so many important friendships. I will also miss all of the students I teach. Teaching is something I look forward to everyday because seeing them love dance makes me love it even more.
