April's goat, Martha, from the little barnyard preschool is on the loose! If you live in the esko area, have trail cams/house cameras check them and see if she's been around.
Martha is still missing! Please search your yards, out buildings and woods for her again today. If you have security cameras or trail cameras in your woods, please let us know if she shows up on them. We haven’t had any sightings of her since early Sunday morning. We are continuing our search by car and foot, but we could use an updated location.
She was last seen on Vork road in Esko, about a mile away from home early Sunday morning. If you are within 7 miles of that location, please search your land.
Please call or text April anytime at 218-213-3424 if you find her! Thank you!! ❤️

At the day camps I host, it’s not just a free-for-all. I put a lot of thought and intention into creating theme-based activities for each day of every session. While the kids absolutely have time for free play, exploration, and simply being kids, there are also structured activity times woven throughout the day to create a balanced and meaningful experience.
Even through the craziness life has thrown my way lately, I’m still plugging away and doing camp prep whenever I can. That includes putting together my activity binders, which outline each activity with instructions, materials, and guidance to help make every camp session intentional, engaging, and fun.

There’s something incredibly grounding about watching children slow down enough to care for another living thing. 🐇🌿
At Whimsical Forest Adventures, caring for our bunnies is more than just a “cute activity.” It teaches children gentleness, responsibility, patience, empathy, and confidence in a hands-on, meaningful way.
They help refill water, prepare food, observe behavior, practice calm movements, and learn how to recognize when an animal feels safe and cared for. These small moments build BIG life skills.
In a world that moves so fast and asks kids to constantly perform, nature and animal care invite them back into connection. Into softness. Into presence.
This is our bunny Cookie and he is chill as a cucumber with the kids that he doesn't mind being held and snuggled like a baby. 💗
Our other bunny, Indigo, is much more shy and doesn't like to be held by the kids. Knowing the different personalities and needs the bunnies have is important to be able to teach the kids boundaries with the animals.
This is the kind of childhood we’re passionate about creating here in the Whimsical Forest. ✨🌲
