Sensei Waldo Casarez is a retired Curry County Sheriff's Investigator who began teaching Okinawan Shorin Ryu Karate in 1978 at the YMCA, here in Clovis. We lost one of the best yesterday in our martial arts family. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Sensei Jerry Landrum who passed away yesterday. He will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord, Sensei. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they navigate through this difficult time.
We've got the most awesome students ever! One of our blue belts is a real magic master! This tiny tot somehow manages to pull off producing his tuition check from his sleeve, hat, or gi top every single month with a grin that leaves me stunned by his awesomeness! Love it! 👏😊

WE WILL BE CLOSED THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS AND THE WEEK Of NEW YEARS. EVERYONE HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR....AND PRACTICE YOUR KATA!!
