What a great day yesterday at East Fallowfield Park Flea and Find! From the sunrise setup to the afternoon sunshine, the weather fully cooperated! Many thanks to Joyce Madding for organizing the event! You did an amazing job! Thank you to others who pitched in and helped out: Modena and Westwood Fire and Ambulance Companies, Kat DiRado, Jerry Dickinson , Stephanie Crawford Scotton , Bob Madding, the My Maries Food Truck team, our beautiful ladies of Mads Soda Shop, and of course, all our vendors! There were so many treasures for the finding! This old gal learned a bit about foraging for mushrooms, too! (Thank you Derek Carty!).
We hope everyone enjoyed our free raffles and our birdhouse competition! Congratulations to our winners! We will hang some of these colorful birdhouses somewhere in the Park next spring! Perhaps we will hold a "find the colorful birdhouse" competition next year! Our feathered friends will be thankful for their new residential homes!
We collected hundreds of pounds of nonperishable foods for Octorara Food Cupboard! Thank you everyone, for your generous donations! Our residents and our neighbors are the reason we hold Park events and you never cease to amaze me with your kindness, your support, your sense of community, and generosity. This is why my East Fallowfield Township Parks and Recreation team work tirelessly to serve you.
