An ordinary looking creature during the day, admittedly, the firefly is a remarkable sight when it glows at night.
This is a symbolic message to us humans that although our physical appearance may seem one way - it is our internal makings - what is inside us (such as our spirit) that makes us shine from the inside out. That which is within us will always illuminate us and those around us.

Cultivating Grace (embodied movement)

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Grace is the sweet, tender opening of the tight bud of our heart when we stop trying so hard, even for a moment. When we start trusting. This gathering will guide us through familiar yoga postures — some restful, some summoning more strength - as we open to grace within each shape. We do this through breath, and through gentle, intuitive, fluid and feminine movements found within the container of each posture. We will trust our hearts, our souls, and our bodies to show us where grace asks us to open, just a little more, in each moment... so that we come away from coming together with more grace to give to our world ... because we have given it to ourselves, through intentional embodied movement and the courage to trust our own natural, wild wisdom. All levels of experience and fitness welcome
