Proof that your first fish on the fly is usually followed by a whole lot of smiling.
Thanks to these two for making the trip all the way from the UK to fish with us here in Wyoming.

The North Fork has been fishing well this week, with solid action all the way up toward Pahaska.
Stonefly imitations and jigged attractors have been producing consistently, especially under nymph rigs.
Conditions should stay steady until warmer weather returns and flows begin to rise.
🚨Please note:
The river is currently closed to fishing from Gibbs Bridge to Newton Creek until July 1.
If you’re planning a trip through Cody this summer, now’s the time to get on the books.

If you want to float and fish the North Fork in July we recommend booking now! The North Fork has been rated as one of the Top 10 rivers to fly fish in the northern Rockies. This river contains healthy concentrations of native Yellowstone Cutthroat, Rainbow, Cuttbow hybrids, and Brown Trout. Trout sizes range from 10 inches to well over 20 inches! The average North Fork Trout is 16-18”. More than 30 miles of the North Fork flows through the Shoshone National Forest and is a very scenic float. It is not uncommon to see bald eagles, moose, bighorn sheep, bears, deer, and other wildlife while floating and fishing. Due to the river’s reel screaming and rod bending trophy sized trout and its immense popularity, we book up early!
