Why should you vote for Cody Stampede to win the PRCA Best Large Outdoor Rodeo?

Because we are the RODEO CAPITAL of the WORLD!
Founded in 1919, the Cody Stampede Rodeo has been held every summer and is one of the longest‑running professional rodeos in the U.S.

Because we blend Western pageantry, community spirit, and authentic cowboy culture to create an AMAZING RODEO!

But best of all...Vote for Cody Stampede — we're the only one with enough horse sense to lead the way, and enough grit to be the 2026 winner!

Every year a saddle bronc rider is nominated for the Nick Gillett Memorial Buckle. This year it was Aiden Coan, who has worked hard all summer riding saddle bronc horses at The Cody Nite Rodeo.

“Nick Gillett was a young and inspiring saddle bronc rider from right here in Cody Wyoming. He was taken from us at an early age in a saddle bronc accident. Nick was a kid who was full of life, always happy and friendly to everyone. He loved riding saddle bronc horses, and no one tried or work as hard as Nick Gillett.”
-Maury Tate

We are honored to continue Nick Gillett’s legacy every year at the Cody Nite Rodeo by giving a hard working saddle bronc rider a Shea Michelle memorial Buckle 🙌
