Elk Creek Ranch Summer Camp for Teenagers

Things are happening at Elk Creek! We spent Memorial Day weekend preparing our irrigation fields for summer and even sneaking a hike in with family. June 16th here we come!

We're getting ready to dive into Summer 2026!!! Staff arriving in less than a month, and ranchers shortly after that, but who's counting?!?!

One thing that never grows old at Elk Creek are the fantastic views we get to take in on a daily basis. Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves for being so lucky to explore these beautiful places!

Looking back in time, we're glad some things don't change all too much. Fishing is one of those for us. Aren't we lucky!?!

We talk a lot about the horses at Elk Creek, but have we mentioned the dogs?!?!

When we're not riding, hiking, or doing other projects on the ranch, the group usually makes its way down to the pond for some fun. It's cold, but that never seems to stop anyone!

One of the highlights on our caravan trip into Yellowstone and to Jackson Hole is a whitewater rafting trip on the Snake River. We're not sure anyone stays dry though!

Most afternoons at the ranch find us out on the trail somewhere! From the corral, to the trail, to usually a scenic meeting place where we join as a group...they are hard afternoons to beat!

The Trout Peak trail is one of our favorites to explore during our First Session backpack. There is a true sense of accomplishment along the way, and the views are hard to beat!

Why is everything so fun at Elk Creek?! There are lots of good reasons, but at the center of it all is the camaraderie among the community we have. It's the best part of the summer!
