North Idaho College Men's Basketball

We ended our first year back in the NJCAA with a 21-10 record and 3 players earning All-Scenic West Athletic Conference Honors!

Great job to Dante Sawyer, Jalen Skalskiy, Vaughn Weems and the rest of the team on a great season!

Time to rest up and start looking forward to next season!

The Scenic West Athletic Conference announced Monday, March 11 that three players from the North Idaho College Men's Basketball team earned All-Scenic West Athletic Conference honors.

Dante Sawyer, a second-year guard from San Francisco, was selected to the All-SWAC first team. Jalen Skalskiy, a second-year forward from Rathdrum, and Vaughn Weems a freshman guard from Federal Way, Wash. were named members of the All-SWAC second team.

NIC finished with a 21-10 record in its first season in the SWAC since 2016, the fourth-best record in the conference.

PRESS RELEASE: The North Idaho College Men's Basketball game against Community Christian College has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 at Christianson Gymnasium at NIC’s Coeur d’Alene campus. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday night.

The men’s basketball team is also scheduled to play Community Christian College at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 at Christianson Gymnasium at NIC’s Coeur d’Alene campus.
