My heart has been returning to the practice of Metta—Loving-Kindness.🤍
When life feels uncertain & heavy, we may not always know what to do, but we can choose how we hold one another in our hearts.💞
Traditionally, Metta begins by offering compassion to ourselves, then gradually expands outward—to a teacher or mentor, someone we love, a neutral person, a difficult person, and eventually to all beings everywhere. It reminds us that every heart longs for the same things: to feel safe, healthy, happy, and at peace. 🩵
Today, I offer this prayer for our greater community, for those affected by the Spokane-area fires, for the firefighters and first responders, for the families who have evacuated, for the wildlife, and for anyone carrying fear or grief.
🤍 May you be safe.
🤍 May you be healthy.
🤍 May you be happy.
🤍 May you live with ease.
And may we continue to widen the circle of our compassion…
May all beings everywhere be happy and free.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings be healthy.
May all beings live with ease.
May all beings know peace.
May our thoughts, words, and actions contribute to the well-being of all.
✨
Loving-kindness isn’t something we wait to feel—it’s something we choose to practice, one intention, one prayer, and one act of compassion at a time.💛✨
Pass the ripple…🌀
