Yesterday I slipped into the bait at 430, to spend a few hours away from the world. I walked in to the twins we've been watching all season. There's something so humbling on getting to be ground level standing there watching bears 20 yards away from you.
Once they left I slipped into the stand and sat, the woods were dead quiet, then not even 30 minutes later this guy slipped in, not single snapped branch nothing. I could not have asked for a better opportunity. After the I packed down and within 15 mins found him.
I do not have words to describe how honored, humbled and excited I felt seeing all the hard work of this season in front of me.
We all hunt for different reasons but what's makes us all similar in my eyes is the shared respect and honor of these animals.
