BCAR invites the public to join us at 8:00 am at the Hope Café on June 2nd for an important and meaningful discussion on su***de prevention and mental health awareness. Jessica Singer from Pines Behavioral Health will share valuable information on:
• Su***de prevention
• Mental health awareness
• Warning signs to watch for
• How to support those in need

This event is open to the public, and free coffee will be provided courtesy of Advanced Home Inspections – Joe Ward.

Join us at the Branch County Veterans Affairs office for a community event that's all about giving back, specifically to support the Footlocker. Bring your canned goods and enjoy a complimentary meal on us, featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, potato salad, and chips. This event is designed for families, offering a range of activities including a bounce house, dunk tank, and raffles. Come together with us from 11-2 in front of the Branch County Jail and be part of something meaningful.

Presenting the donation is Mindy Smith and James Cox. We would like to extend our appreciation to all the bowlers, the Midway staff, and the entire USBC for contributing and helping our local veterans. Guess what? Our team won the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce 's Scarecrow Contest! But the best part? We used our prize money to make a donation to the Branch County Veteran's Footlocker, which does amazing work helping support local veterans right here in our community.

21 Thanksgiving boxes were handed out this year to our local Veterans, a testament to the incredible impact of community support. We are truly humbled by the outpouring of generosity for this program. Nancy and Tammy put the boxes together to have them ready to distribute, a shining example of kindness in action. Nice job ladies.

A big thank you to the Quincy American Legion Auxiliary for their remarkable generosity in donating $1,000 to the Branch County Footlocker. This donation will make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, providing essential support for Thanksgiving dinner baskets and beyond.

The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities is giving away green light bulbs for Operation Green Light. Shine your green lights from November 4th-11th to let veterans know they are appreciated and supported. 🟢🎖🫡
