Any 2026 Girls on the Run of Branch County Program Participants interested in running another 5K soon, listen up!
The Bronson Track and Field and Cross Country teams host the Polish Festival 5k Run, 2 mile walk and 1 mile fun run each year as a fundraiser for our programs. This year we would love to offer a 25% discount on the entry fee of any race (run, walk or mile fun run) that a GOTR runner registers for. The coupon code is: GOTR and the website for registration is: https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Bronson/PolishFestival5K
We would love to have a great turn of GOTR athletes this year!

Yesterday's 5K was another great success! My favorite part of the race each year is seeing the proud looks on the girls' faces as they cross the finish line. It makes every bit of work worth it to provide this program.
Thank you to every Running Buddy that came out to support and encourage our girls throughout the race.
Thank you to all volunteers that helped make the race run smoothly. Thank you to the Quincy Police Department for leading the way.
Thank you to Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence for supporting our mission for the better part of 20 years.
MOST of all, thank you to our coaches for being amazing role models for our girls. The care you have for the girls on your teams is truly commendable.
This yearโs race was dedicated to Coach Kimberly Owen from our Quincy site, as she battles cancer. We stand by her side to fight with her.

The Quincy GOTR of Branch County team chose to have a group go make friendship bracelets with students at The Little Orioles Preschool. The other half of the team made goodie bags for the animals at the animal shelter. Way to make an impact girls!

Our St. Charles site chose the Humane Society of Branch County as their Community Impact Project. This year the girls helped clean the outside kennels. They cleaned out the leaves and debris from the winter and they picked the weeds that had started to grow. They loved it. They were able to play with the kittens for a few minutes and were able to visit with the dogs.

Tell us a little about yourself/family.
I am married to my husband Jereme. We have been married for 19 years this year. We have three children, twins, Lilliann and Lane, that are 12 and a 7-year-old, Everlee. We are a very busy family with different sports and 4H all year long. We try to go on vacations to see family that is not local and new places. We love going to the UP in the summer. Fair week is my kid's favorite week of the year.
What inspired you to become a Girls on the Run Coach?
My oldest daughter started when she was in 3rd grade. I think this is a great program and want to make sure that the girls in the school are able to have it.
