When the game plan meets the first punch…

Coach: “Stay calm. Use your technique. Stick to the game plan.”

Me 2 minutes into the fight: “FORGET THE PLAN—JUST SWING!”

Every fighter has been there. You train for months with a perfect strategy… then adrenaline kicks in and suddenly it’s BOOM, BANG, CHAOS!

MMA: where the plan lasts until somebody gets punched in the face.

🔥 CONTENDER SERIES IS BACK TONIGHT! 🔥

August 18, 2026 — the next wave of UFC hopefuls steps into the cage!

The main event features Namo Fazil vs. Kaik Brito in what promises to be an explosive matchup.

Who’s earning that UFC contract tonight?

When the cage door closed, experience meant nothing—because one mistake could put you to sleep.

Heavyweight veteran Sherman Pendergarst wasted no time against UFC veteran Aaron Brink, locking in a rear-naked choke and forcing the finish in the very first round. Two decades later, moments like this still remind us why MMA history is built on toughness, timing, and the ability to capitalize when opportunity strikes.

20 years later… do you remember this fight?

FOUR FIGHTS. ONE YEAR. 70+ PROFESSIONAL WINS.
While most fighters were slowing down, Dan Severn was still adding names to his résumé.

In 2006, Severn continued proving that longevity isn’t just about staying in the game—it’s about winning in it. He fought at least four times that year, picking up victories over tough regional veterans like Robert Berry, Skip Hall, and Brian Heden across promotions including King of the Cage and regional heavyweight events.

70+ wins wasn’t the finish line. It was another chapter in the career of “The Beast.”

DECADES OF DISCIPLINE. ONE UNCHANGED STANDARD.

Herschel Walker didn’t just build an incredible body—he built a level of conditioning that followed him through multiple chapters of elite competition.

🏈 College football
🏈 NFL career
🥇 Olympic bobsledding
🥊 Professional MMA

At 47 years old, Walker stepped into Strikeforce and won both of his professional MMA fights by TKO, showing conditioning and explosiveness that could compete with athletes decades younger.

What makes his story even more remarkable? His training philosophy was anything but conventional. Walker became famous for relying heavily on high-volume bodyweight exercises, push-ups, sit-ups and sprinting, proving that you don’t always need complicated equipment to demand greatness from your body.

Through the years, his muscularity, explosiveness and power-to-weight ratio remained remarkably consistent.

Age didn’t build his discipline. Discipline built his ability to defy age.

The lesson is simple:
💪 Train your body.
🧠 Train your mind.
🔥 Stay consistent.
⏳ Never let your age become your excuse.

Your greatest physical years don’t have to be behind you.

Some fights don’t just make history—they become history.

Diego “The Nightmare” Sanchez vs. Karo “The Heat” Parisyan was exactly that. Three rounds of relentless action, heart, pressure, and pure MMA warfare.

Sanchez survived the storm and earned a unanimous decision victory—29–28, 29–28, 30–26—in a battle that was later named the 2006 UFC Fight of the Year.

This wasn’t just a fight. This was a WAR that fans never forgot.

Some memories just deserve to be shared!

This one includes Jan Dziewit, Master David Burs, Dan Severn, Professor Nacino, Jennifer and Chris Roberts, along with Felix “The Destroyer” Oscer. 😀

A great group of people, great memories, and a time I’ll always appreciate. The years may pass, but the friendships, experiences, and memories stay with you.

Some people go to the gym to get stronger.

5 minutes in: “I feel better already.”
2 hours later: “Did I talk to anyone? Absolutely not.” 😎

Lift. Sweat. Repeat.
