You do not need to be a "competition" shooter to attend a G***ks on the Brazos, or a GSSf shooting event.

This is a great place to safely practice your skills and have fun shooting your G***ks on the Brazos. There is no age requirements. It IS expected that each shooter understands how to safely handle their firearm.

Ok Everyone! How about some tips, and information to help folks with a GSSf style events.

Let's start off with the Safety Zones!
GSSf Rules for Safety Zones state:
20.70 Safety Zones. Unloaded fi****ms may be handled in designated safety zones. ABSOLUTELY NO
AMMUNITION IS TO BE HANDLED IN SAFETY ZONES. You may handle ammunition and load your
magazines elsewhere on the range, but NOT in designated safety zones.

At we have Tables off to the side in each of the bays with white tops. If you are not familiar with where they are, please ask a Range Officer (RO) and we are happy to point you to one.

It’s almost that time.Everyone should start getting ready for next Saturdays practice GSSF match.Be there or be square.😊

We had a great Turn out last weekend. We made some notes for how we hope to make each "practice" session go.

One thing we wanted to inform you was the price for the junior's is only $10, not $15. We had one young person come out, we hope more will attend for our September. 17th.

We will post more about that meetup within the next few days.
