We offer fun and high quality Pilates, Barre, and Yoga classes online

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve posted here.

A lot has changed.

I’ve become a full-time mom, moved to College Station, continued teaching through Fit4Mom Bryan College Station l Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness , and recently discovered that learning tennis as an adult is both humbling and a lot of fun.

One thing that hasn’t changed is how much I enjoy helping people move well.

So I’m going to start sharing here again.

You’ll see Pilates, barre, mobility, strength, and whatever I’m learning along the way. My hope is that it will be practical, evidence-informed, and useful—whether you’re trying to stay active, recover from an injury, or simply move through life with a little more ease.

Thanks for being here. I’m looking forward to getting this page moving again.

I always get nostalgic for my pregnant days when I’m prepping Fit4Baby classes. Exercising and teaching classes while pregnant was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done. Having a little buddy to jam to my favorite songs, pulse it out, and do “just 4 more! Wait! I lied, it’s 8 more!” was just the best. I miss those studio days with my green birds! We had lots of fun at the barre with our fave early 2000s hip hop songs turned up and the barn doors open 💚

Leading a group of pregnant mamas for 6 weeks is so inspiring. Being pregnant and exercising just gets harder and harder as the months pass by. But these ladies prioritize time for themselves to move their bodies and they always feel better for it. Your body aches, stretches, and burns in whole different ways when you’re pregnant. It’s so easy to lay on the couch with your swollen feet propped up after a long day of work, but these pregnant mamas show up.

Tonight’s the night for a FREE prenatal workout with me at Cycle Station! Come try it out and have some fun. I got some good music and really fun moves planned out. We meet at 7:30pm. Did I mention it’ll be fun??

I’ve been taking weekend classes since I was 8 months pregnant with this cutie. Then this September I upped my barre obsession to 4 times a week as part of a big effort to heal my very stubborn diastasis recti and strengthen my deep core muscles. Y’all, it’s a huge boulder to push uphill when you’re healing DR, but so worth it!

Great news 🎉🎉 My classes combined with my personal Pilates challenge for the past 3 months has meant I have finally closed my abdominal gap to less than a finger width AND lost 8 INCHES in my waist. I know I’ve said it a million times, but I’ll say it forever and ever: Barre and Pilates WORKS! Thank you for your endless motivation and challenges! 💚

I finished knitting this sweater in August and I’m so thankful I did because I can wear it every single time we have a cold front this year! It’s just too cozy and beautiful to pass up. It’s a pretty amazing feeling to be able to wear clothes you made with your own two hands. If you don’t have a hobby or you’re looking for something new to do just dive into knitting.

This morning’s Stroller Barre class was something special. Everyone in class SHOWED UP and kept raising the bar(re) (pun intended 🫣). This group of mamas motivated me to keep finding more challenges for them. Everything I threw at them they just dove in and dominated. I took this photo when they were over 2 minutes deep into some planks and push ups. EVERY. MAMA. was up in this side plank. No one gave up and they finished 2:45 minutes of planks and push ups strong! It was amazing and I’m still living on the high this created with their energy. 🔥💪

I guess I really enjoy running now! I didn’t think I’d ever be that person who runs a race on a holiday or someone who could just bust out a 5k on a whim, but here we are! Even with the summer humidity this is now one of my favorite ways to spend the 4th of July. 🎊Thanks to hard work, consistency, and a supportive family we’re now those kinds of people. And enjoy the classic photogenic face of a tired toddler who is just over all of it. 🤣

I always admired all the mamas at Greenbird that were making it to class every 👏 single 👏 week rain or shine. Making time for themselves and showing their kids that exercise was important. Then I became a mom and I realized just how HARD it is to make time for yourself. It takes the whole family to make it happen, y’all. For the last year and a half I’ve made it to barre class most Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30am. Something I NEVER thought possible, but when your kids regularly wake up between 5:30 and 6am every single day 7:30am isn’t so early on a weekend. 😂

This morning for my 100th class I made it to my first 5:30am! 🔥 Thanks to for giving me a weekend getaway and a really really big thanks to for always supporting me in my fitness goals. Couldn’t do without you 💚

Just me in a super casual pose by a bike rack waiting to TEACH A FITNESS CLASS this morning! That’s right. I’m back at teaching fitness after a long break and it feels amazing. You can catch me teaching Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre every week with 💪 I found the perfect workout and teaching gig where I can bring both of my boys. They both get to see how much I LOVE to teach and exercise plus the importance of boy bands, 90s pop music, and pop culture trivia specific to the early 2000s. So excited to be dipping my toes back into the fitness pool. I’ve missed it more than you’ll ever know 💚💚💚💚💚

A fun little update from us! I just have to take a moment to brag on — your favorite former yoga instructor. He co-wrote a song that ended up on the Band of Heathens new album! This album just happens to be the #1 Americana album in the country right now. And today Jeff’s song that he co-wrote, “Long Lost Son”, is featured on the Grammys website! It doesn’t get any cooler than this!

I finished knitting this back in August and have been waiting patiently for cold enough weather to wear it. Now I wear it every day because you never know when summer’s coming back.

It’s my very first cardigan to knit, so I HAD to post a photo to show it off. 💚🧶 So very happy how it turned out. Coziness dialed all the way up with this one.
