Here's some action from Lime Rock raced late April 2017 by C. Drake. Sprint 1 started in P4 and fought way up to P1. Sprint 2 started in P1 moved down to P2 and took back P1 during final laps.

Sebring kicked off the start of the season where C. Drake and J. Gladwill traded 1st and 2nd place on sprint race one and two. J. Gladwill took 2nd on the Enduro and C. Drake was out with a broken transmission on the race start. S. Gibbons had a strong weekend as well placing on the podium for two of the three races.
The below video is C. Drake breaking the track record with a diabolical run and a dramatic final corner on the notoriously bumpy turn 17.

The season has been off to a fun start. J. Gladwill and C. Drake lead the national point standings and newcomer to the team S. Gibbons is currently in 4th. A. Gillin came out strong at COTA but had an incident at Road Atlanta so is due to return shortly. T. Jones remains on hiatus but rumor has it he will make an appearance at High Plains Raceway this year.
Races at Sebring, Circuit of the Americas, Road Atlanta and Lime Rock are in the books and many remain for the rest of the season. We will be posting videos of some of the action here soon.

Hallett 2015

to the sprint race start at the Hallett club race. It's difficult to pass on this narrow, winding track, so the starts are very aggressive... even moreso than usual.

to the fierce competition between Luke and Chris, last month. Perfect weather and exceptional racing made Hastings one of the best events of the year. Look forward to seeing these two gentlemen meet up again soon!

The Rennpoints predictions are in for our upcoming race at Laguna Seca! If they hold true, it looks like Chris and Luke will be battling it out for the top spot with Andrew hot on their heels.

Reminiscing about the Road Atlanta race almost two months ago. We're ready to go back!
Here's how the team stacked up against the competitive field of 20 SPBs.

Exciting and gorgeous weekend of Porsche Club of America Club Racing at Texas World Speedway.
It's always nice to have events close to home, where friends and family can come watch, and the racers certainly made spectating worthwhile! Four of Team FeuerRacing's drivers competed across two different car classes and fared well overall.
Spec Porsche Boxster (SPB)
- Sprint Race 2 (first points race)
-- Chris Drake, P2 and finished 1st
-- John Gladwill, P1 and finished 2nd
-- Andrew Gillin, P6 and did not finish due to a mechanical failure
- Sprint Race 3 (final points race)
-- Chris Drake, P1 and finished 1st
-- John Gladwill, P2 and finished 2nd
-- Andrew Gillin, P7 and moved up three places to take 4th
Approximately 27 race cars competed in the SPBs class this weekend, so we're really proud to have been side by side with the drivers up front.
GTC3
Luke Oxner competed in a Porsche factory race car (GTC3). While his car class was far from the fastest in his race group, he finished 3rd and 4th overall (out of 37) posting lap times much faster than other competitors with more favorable horsepower to weight ratios.
In his own class (GTC3), he started both races P1 and finished on top of the podium as well.
Great job, everyone, and rest up because Road Atlanta is right around the corner.

to one year ago. Thomas Jones, Luke Oxner, and Chris Drake pose for a quick photo before staging the grid at NOLA Motorsports Park

Last year, Porsche Club of America moved the club race NOLA Motorsports Park up to February (from May in previous years). We were excited for the cooler weather, until we realized that freezing humidity is just as miserable as scalding hot humidity... the racers made the best of it, and it was a fun weekend in the end.
