Registration for the TEEX Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course closes soon. If becoming an EMR has been on your list, now is the time to take that first step. From the photographer: Just because the Texas Industrial and Municipal Fire Schools have wrapped up doesn't mean things have slowed down at Brayton Fire Training Field®.

Last week, EMS 100-8 students put their skills to the test through a variety of realistic emergency response exercises, gaining hands-on experience that prepares them for the real world.

This week, we welcome Academy Class 101-50 students to the field. Meanwhile, work continues behind the scenes as Prop 46 undergoes refurbishment to support future training.

The training never stops.

It’s exciting to see research turned into real-world tools that help keep first responders safe.
