Was listening to the Ed Mylett podcast this morning and he was asking his listeners to evaluate their environment of friends. One of the key questions he asked was, “do my friends and I talk more about the past or more about the future?” If it’s about the future then together, all of us will see an exciting future ahead. Debbie and I have great friends that are always “dreaming from the future!

There are speakers and authors that we listen to and read their books. While we don’t always agree, they do cause us to think. Remember that thinking is hard work that’s why too few people do it.

There are mentors in your life that have helped you along in your journey. Debbie and I connected with our dear friends Willard and Betty Thiessen originally from Canada and now residing in the USA. When Debbie and I needed help for our marriage 25 years again their ministry was a gift from heaven. They directed us to a couple who helped us and then continued to follow up with us to pray for and encourage us in our marriage and ministry. Over the years they became dear friends.
