Jim is dedicated to helping others live a healthier life. After losing over 55 pounds on his self-designed fitness program, he decided to come out of retirement, and become an AFAA certified personal trainer. At the age of 15, Jim was an amateur boxer. He is a healthy heart ambassador for YMCA pilot program, and he created an outdoor group exercise program for seniors at Shelby Farms called Trekke
