Several summers ago, I watched a guy make one of the worst cast net throws I'd ever seen.
I honestly thought, "There's no chance he's catching anything."
A few seconds later, he pulled up a full net of bait.
That was the first time I realized that the net can make just as much of a difference as the person throwing it.
In Australia, chain-bottom cast nets are pretty common. Over here, they're surprisingly hard to find. After using one myself, I understood why so many people prefer them. They open wider, tangle less, and they're much more forgiving if your throw isn't perfect.
That's the reason I started Silver Catch.
I wasn't sure how people would respond, but we've now sold out two summers in a row. Seeing so many anglers enjoy using them has been incredibly rewarding.
We've got new sizes arriving soon.

🎣 Stop guessing. Start catching.
The right mesh size can make all the difference between filling your bait bucket and coming home empty.
Here's a quick guide:
🔹 3/8" Mesh – Best for small bait like minnows and shrimp.
🔹 1/2" Mesh – The all-rounder for most baitfish.
🔹 1" Mesh – Ideal for medium to larger bait.
🔹 2" Mesh – Built for bigger catches.
