Hello, Collinsville Trailblazers!

My name is Dustin Logan, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Head Wrestling Coach at Collinsville Middle School!

A little about me, wrestling has been a big part of my life since I first stepped onto the mat at Alton High School. I was a three-year wrestler and a sectional qualifier, and I began coaching in 2010 as a volunteer assistant and JV coach at Alton High School. I later became the Head Coach of the Alton Little Redbirds Wrestling Club before joining the Bulls Wrestling Club in 2017. During my time with the Bulls, I’ve served as a coach, vice president, and currently president.

Wrestling is also a big part of my family’s life. My son has wrestled since he was six years old and currently wrestles for Civic Memorial High School, so I understand what it’s like to experience the sport from both a coach’s and a parent’s perspective.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with some great coaches, athletes, and families. I’ve helped coach state qualifiers and state champions, worked with our dual teams, and organized several large wrestling tournaments. I’m also a USA Wrestling Bronze Certified Coach and an IHSA wrestling official.

More than anything, I love wrestling and the lessons it teaches young athletes. My goal is to create a positive environment where every wrestler feels welcome, works hard, builds confidence, and has fun while improving. Whether your child has wrestled for years or has never stepped on a mat, they’ll have a place in our program.

I’m looking forward to meeting all of our wrestlers and families and working with Jordan May and the Collinsville High School coaching staff. I’m grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started!

Well I'd say we had a successful weekend at IESA State! We brought 4 wrestlers and all 4 placed! Garrett Smith brought home 6th, Tytus Summer brought home 5th, Trenton Summer took 4th and Kyrie Brown is our 2026 126lb State runner up! We are incredibly proud of these athletes, they wrestled their hearts out and left it all on the mat. Hard work pays off and brings home hardware! We'd also like to congratulate Blayni King for placing 3rd at IKWF, Dani Espinoza bring home 5th at IKWF and Adiya Bailey for being our 2026 IKWF Senior Girls 115lb State Runner up! Congratulations to all of our Collinsville Wrestlers, it has been a long yet rewarding season. Time to hit the off season grind stone and get even better for next year.
