Our boys worked hard this weekend. Just getting moved up to AAA only 1 week ago seemed like a challenge. But they handled it like just another day at the ballpark. Pushing thru every game and fighting hard every inning. They learned what they are really capable of this weekend. Going 4-1 loosing by 1 run in the championship game against the #1 ranked team in Iowa.

Today's team performance was impressive, demonstrating resilience following a challenging weekend at the AAA level last week. Wil Dykhuizen's achievement of hitting his first home run of the season is noteworthy. Despite previous losses last week, the team bounced back effectively, securing wins in both pool play games and hitting several dingers from Hudson King, Wesley Thomas, and Grayson Millerschone. We wait to see results for seeding and hope for optimal weather.
After delays and schedule adjustments the Blackhawks finish as the 2 seed going into bracket play. We take the field at 2:30 and plan to play 3 games in a row to reach the championship at 6:30 today. Its a beautiful day for baseball! We couldn't be more proud of you and how well you've adapted to playing at the next level.

This weekend, the boys are given a well-deserved break, having worked diligently and requiring some time to reset. Our coaching staff and families also need a pause. Nonetheless, Monday brought noteworthy news. Our fans & supporters are well-informed about the boys' outstanding performance this season. Overall,
the team has matured into a tough, gritty, and focused group with considerable talent, precisely as we knew they could become. For those players who've been with us since the begining, the challenge has consistently been about progressive improvement. We've not only grown but also aimed to cultivate leaders who embody strength, responsibility, and a goal of excellence. Ultimately, we have always been about crafting something to be proud of by being our best selves, and each season has adhered to this principle as we welcome players who align with our vision each season.
Now the best we've ever been. Theres still work ahead. We will work even harder to tackle the 2nd half of our season, officially as a AAA team. With 6 tournaments left and a slight change in our schedule be sure to check them out.

Blackhawks had another great weekend! 4-1 overall and took 1st place. Keep working boys your so fun to watch!
The Blackhawks experienced another commendable weekend with a 2-1 record in pool play, thanks to the accommodating weather. Regrettably, games scheduled for Sunday were canceled due to the storm that rolled in overnight. Parker Devaney is to be commended for achieving his first out-of-the-park home run of the season, and Kendrik Wilson is recognized for his 2nd of the season. Overall the entire team played outstanding baseball!
We will keep grinding this week before competing in the Memorial Day Classic at Hitmen Fields next weekend. Well done, Blackhawks, on securing second place at the Cornshucker Propects tournament Cedar Rapids. IA.
