Happy Summer Sunday everyone. We had a fun but busy weekend with Floatzilla yesterday on the Mighty Mississippi and wrapping it up with a fun scenic tour down the Rock River today.
Kind of a majestic day on the Rock with lots of birds of prey to be seen. Sarah wanted to take her two sisters out for a leisure guided trip down the Rock River hoping to see the wildlife that lives on and along the river. We were happy to make that happen for them. They were delighted to see lots of turtles, Blue Herons, and some pretty impressive eagles as we snuck into some back waters to view the quite large birds that flew just above our heads. There's nothing like watching a male and female eagle take flight above us.
Thanks Sarah for bringing your sisters out to paddle with us, it was a great day on the water.
Safe travels back home.

The weather is heating back up once again for weekend paddles, sure we might have a little rain Sunday morning but that makes for a beautiful Sunday afternoon adventure. Whether renting a tandem so one can paddle and the other take pictures of the wildlife ( just kidding its a team effort) or in a solo kayak cool off will a scenic relaxing float down the Rock River.
