Meet Genia Johnson Williams! 💜🖤

As we celebrate 25 YEARS of GJDC, we couldn’t think of anyone better to close out our staff features than the woman who started it all! ✨ For 25 years, Mrs. Genia has poured her heart, passion, and love for dance into GJDC, creating a place where generations of dancers have been able to learn, grow, build confidence, and make memories that last a lifetime.🩰✨

A few fun facts about Mrs. Genia:
🌟She has met TONS of celebrities & even had lunch with Emmitt Smith!
🎶She used to be able to speak Pig Latin fluently!
✨She has a 15 year old son named Blake!

We honor the lives lost, the heroes who stepped forward, and the families whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.

May we always remember the courage, strength, and unity shown on that day and in the days that followed. ❤️🤍💙

Mrs. Ashton is going into her 11th year teaching at GJDC and loves sharing her passion for dance while helping each dancer grow both on and off the dance floor!🩰✨

🌟 She is a Preschool teacher!
🎶 She LOVES Disney!
✨ She danced for GJDC for many years before returning to teach after graduating from college!

Our phone lines are temporarily down as they are currently being transitioned to a new service provider. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and are working to get our phone lines back up and running as soon as possible!

If you need to get in touch with the office in the meantime, please email us at [email protected], and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

💜 Registration is still open for both current and new students!
💜 Automatic payments will continue as scheduled for families on a 9- or 12-month payment plan. Please make sure your account and payment information in your Family Portal is correct and active.
💜 We are also working to make sure all waitlisted students are placed in classes before the start of the season on September 14th!

Miss Berkley is going into her 6th year teaching at GJDC and brings energy, creativity, and a love for teaching to every class! She has continued her dance education while teaching at GJDC and has been certified in Acrobatic Arts Module 1 & 2, Aerials & Back Handsprings, Flexibility & Contortion, Preschool Acro and Baton Arts!🩰✨

A few fun facts about Miss Berkley:

🎶 She will be an Aunt this year!
