Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Football Kickoff will be held on Wednesday, July 22, at the state-of-the-art CAVEA Theater on the campus of Metropolitan State University of Denver.

The event will be broadcast on the RMAC Network free of charge beginning at 10:00 a.m., when the 2026 Preseason All-RMAC Teams and Coaches’ Poll will be revealed. Team-by-team interviews, led by host Miles Dunklin, will follow at 10:30 a.m., with all 10 RMAC football teams participating. The in-person event is not open to the public.

For a second consecutive year, a Western Colorado University student-athlete claims the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s top men’s honor, as redshirt senior quarterback Drew Nash is the league’s 2025-26 Man of the Year, which was announced Wednesday.

Nash, a Torrance, California native, follows 2024-25 recipient Drew Noble as the league’s Man of the Year Award recipient. Noble was the first Western Colorado student-athlete and first RMAC men’s wrestler to receive one of the RMAC’s four major individual awards.

The Man of the Year Award will be presented during the 2026 RMAC Hall of Fame & Awards Banquet on Thursday, July 9, at COS City Hub in Colorado Springs. Doors will open at 5 p.m. MT, and the induction and awards ceremony will follow promptly at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at RMACSports.org/Tickets.

Olivia Reed Thyne has been named the 2025-26 RMAC Woman of the Year! She claims the conference’s highest honor after capping an extraordinary career with the Mavericks. She also earned the 2025-26 RMAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, becoming just the third student-athlete in conference history to capture the RMAC’s two most prestigious individual honors in the same season!

Olivia will be honored at the 2026 RMAC Hall of Fame Ceremony and Awards Banquet on Thursday, July 9, at the COS City Hub in Colorado Springs!

For the second consecutive year, a Colorado School of Mines student-athlete is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, as Alex was named the recipient of the league’s top academic award on Wednesday.

Alex will be honored at the 2026 RMAC Hall of Fame Ceremony and Awards Banquet on Thursday, July 9, at the COS City Hub in Colorado Springs!
