I mean come on, it takes at least two days to build your 🍑but all jokes aside, this is a serious problem we see with a lot of clients

Let’s be honest, expecting immediate results triples your chances of giving up on your fitness journey prematurely. You’re basically setting yourself up for failure with the mindset that results should happen overnight. The real key is CONSISTENCY. Fitness journeys are LIFE LONG. If you want to see results, change your perspective timeline and take the everyday steps to get there ❗️

We have to admit it: we don’t stretch nearly as much as we should. It’s easy to skip over it when you’re in a hurry BUT it is so important to take the time to do it! When your body is tight, you increase your chance of injury dramatically👎🏻 if you aren’t sure what stretches you should be doing before each workout, send us a DM!

❗️READ THIS POST IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH CONSISTENCY❗️

We see a lot of questions asking “how do you stay motivated to work out”. Honestly, sometimes we don’t. Not everyday anyway🤷🏼‍♀️There are several days we struggling to find the motivation to workout but we go anyway. Why? Because we made it a habit and stay disciplined to our goals.

If you can get yourself in the habit of working out, it gets easier and easier to keep going. You’re no longer relying on motivation everyday, you’re relying on dedication. A great way to help you build that discipline is to work with a trainer. Have someone else hold you accountable to your goals while you build up the consistency👍🏼

✨Staying active on our days off from the gym✨

We decided to pop over to for some lunch time yoga today with 😊We like to stay active on our rest days (not all of them bc sometimes our bodies need complete rest) and yoga is a great way to do that! It felt great to get a good stretch in and focus on mobility 🙆‍♀️

‼️3 WEEK PROGRESS ‼️

Shoutout to our client .elaina for putting in some hard work! 👏🏻 It’s only been 3 weeks and we can already see results😍When Sarah started training with us, she had been going to the gym regularly but stayed away from weight training for a fear of getting bulky. We broke her of that fear and had her start weight training 4x a week. She has also been doing nutritional coaching with us and lost 4lbs in 2 weeks! We can’t wait to see what her progress looks like over the next few weeks💪🏼

‼️FORM OVER EVERYTHING‼️

Since being back in the gym we have been seeing a lot of people using poor form because the weight they’re using is too heavy for them🏋️‍♂️ Not only is it dangerous to lift with poor form but you’re also compromising the lift and not getting as good of a workout as a result🙅🏼‍♀️

If you’re new to weight training, you should always start out with a lighter weight and focus on mastering the form of the exercises you’re performing. Even once you advance in the gym, you should always use a weight that you can lift without compromising your form. A good rule of thumb is to use a weight that you find difficult on your last 2-3 reps. If you’re struggling with a weight in the beginning of your lift, it’s too heavy for you🤷🏼‍♀️

Working with a personal trainer is a great way to learn proper form and figure out what weight is right for you. Send us a DM to learn more!
