Q: What is a Godly man?
What are some characteristics?
If you do a Google search, you'll find very good qualities, important qualities.... But more often than not, very tame qualities.
Many today are trying to neutralize men. Trying to tame men. Using shame as a primary weapon.
This is a topic that I teach on in the discipleship group (Wisdom and Wilderness). As I study mighty men in the Bible I see many qualities that frankly, today's society seems too afraid to embrace.
They were bold, they were a little rowdy, they have courageous faith and faced evil without apologizing.
Men like Ezra, Daniel, Jeremiah, David, Job, etc... There are so many in the Old Testament.
Were they perfect? Nope, but they were absolutely essential.
Even in the NT, beginning with Jesus, I don't see the qualities and lists that are published today aligning with those we are meant to emulate. They're watered down and carry a reduced potency.
So, in your opinion, what are some characteristics of a Godly man? And why aren't we seeing more men walking in those characteristics?

Identity is more than the name on your drivers license. It is more than the job title that you currently possess. It's more than your social standing or relationship status.
Your TRUE Identity comes from God.
God says in Genesis 1:27 “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion.."
You have a very specific design and function here on earth. And the World NEEDS men to be men. The men that God called them to be.
Most men spend their entire lives trying to figure that piece out. Searching and searching for the answer. "Who does God say I am?"
There is a hole inside your soul that can only be filled when God answers that question!
• A job can't answer it…
• A relationship can't answer it…
• Attention from Social Media can't answer it…
It's not something that is learned or told.
It's Revealed.
Just like your relationship with Jesus Christ isn't learned it's an experience, an encounter.
When you set your heart to seek God for WHO He says you are. It is revealed through an experience with Him.
When your heart is not just convinced but converted to the truth of that, your entire world will change.
Look at almost every story in the Bible where the "hero" comes into a revelation about WHO God says he is. Nations were changed, Cultures were preserved. Giants were slain. Bonds were Broken.
God is your Father in heaven and He has a special role for you to play.
