Typically, this would be a shelter. You would use in the jungle, hence the name. But you can use this to your advantage in hot places, or even cold ones or wet ones. It gets you up off the ground and you can easily create a
Warm base layer to insulate yourself.
In this video I don't do any talking, but you get to listen to the sounds of nature and me making the shelter through ASMR

This one has been floating around the survival world for years.

Take a tampon, dip it in hot wax, let it harden, and supposedly you’ve got a compact emergency fire starter you can throw in your survival kit.

But is it actually worth doing?

Does the wax help it burn longer?

Does it make it harder to ignite?

Is it cost effective?

And most importantly, is this something I would actually carry into the wilderness instead of a better fire starting option?

That’s what this series is about.

I’m taking viral survival hacks from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube and judging them as a survival instructor based on one thing:

Would I actually trust this technique when it mattered?

Some of these hacks are legitimate survival skills.

Some technically work, but only in very specific situations.

And some are straight up internet hype that could waste your time, burn valuable energy, or make a bad situation even worse.
