Having a great time at the OKO Gathering (Kajukenbo) in Lone Tree Colorado. It is great to be part of a long lineage of martial artists. Kajukenbo and Combat Hapkido have very similar concepts and principles that integrste very well with my self-defense practice and instruction. This is a 2022 Family Tree, but I will be listed under the Dean Gokdade & Hock Hochheim.

It is going time for two awesome individuals. Danny De Jesus and Lloyd Henderson. Testing tiday for their 2nd Dan and 4th Dan Black Belts in Chon Tu Kwan "Combat Hapkido".

There is still time to sign up for this weekend's Survival Centric: Defensive Hand, Stick, Knife, and Gun seminar. Evrrythinh is packet and locked up for safety. 10 battery airsoft pistols, 1 gas airsoft pistols, and an airsoft AR. About 12,000 rounds of pellets.

Mixed Weapon Combatives Seminar

Date: May 31 – June 1, 2025

Times: Saturday (9:30 am to 4:00/4:30 pm); Sunday (9:30 am to 4:00/4:30 pm)

Location: Coppock’s Kenpo Karate Academy, 5923 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO!

Price:
• One day only: $150 (cash or credit card).
• Two-day: $225 if paid by credit card or Paypal on the Website.
o $200 “CASH ONLY” discount paid at the door or in advance to host. If you choose cash, please advise the local host and-or me you are planning to come. This way if there is an emergency, we can contact you with updates.
• $99 Preregistration: Pay the tuition out over several payments. If the rest is paid in cash at the door? The cash discount is still on, and tuition is only $200. The remaining fee paid by credit card, then the tuition is $225.

Details:
• Saturday: Hand, stick, knife chase drills, and related materials. Chasing the Moving Hand, Stick, Knife, Gun Targets and a possible "A very special session on Filipino Mano Mano, drills, flows and skills."
• Sunday: Simulated ammo day for "In, Out, and Around Cars" with "car-safe battery operated" airsoft pistols. Reminder: NO LIVE WEAPONS OR AMMO!!!
o There will be 10 airsoft (battery operated) pistols provided.
o If you have a battery operated (not gas operated), you can bring your own.

Please wear street clothes! Especially pants with pockets and a street belt. Please bring ALL your gear. Training knives, guns, sticks. Two focus mitts or two Thai-style pads. We will have some to share, but it would be wise and helpful to bring some. On the training knives, please try to bring a dull training folder. If you have a fixed blade trainer, having a sheath and belt for it would be wise. Try to bring a (cheap) generic holster for your training pistol.
