Dear Students, Friends, and Families,
I hope your year is going well. I am still focusing my energies on taking care of family stuff, but I did make it out to Oklahoma again this summer to visit Mr. Sprague (aka Master Taveau). His class is doing great! It was a real treat to be there for their test.
My hope is that things will get back to normal soon, and I can visit all of our locations more often. Until then, feel free to reach out if you need anything, and keep training!

Hello Everyone,
Almost time to go back to school! I hope you all had a great summer.
I had a great time with Master Taveau and his students at the Fort Sill Center for Youth Services, in Oklahoma. Those guys train HARD! I was really impressed, and hope to make it an annual trip.
I'd like to take this time to remind everyone that we are still offering classes at 3 locations in Southern Colorado. First, we have our main location in Colorado Springs led by Master Nick Eimer. Next, we have our Fountain Valley location led by instructor Sam Olsen. Finally, we have Pueblo West Martial Arts, taught by instructor Laura Barkus. All locations are open to the public. Feel free to reach out to me if you need information for any of the locations. I hope to be more present at all 3 locations over the few months.

Hello All,
I just wanted to take a moment and update everyone on the plans for the school moving forward. As stated previously, Thursday, Dec. 21st will my my last day as the instructor of the club that meets at James Madison Charter Academy. Fortunately, a long time member of our association, Sam Olson, will be taking over the club starting in January. Technically, this will be a new program under Sam, but for intensive purposes, nothing will change for the students, except the days of class. Starting in January, classes will be on Mondays and Fridays, instead of Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class time will remain 5-6pm.
If any of you have any questions about the new instructor or program, please call Mr. Sam at 719-237-6222.
Finally, please remember that our final class of 2023 will be Thursday, December 21st, and it will be a belt-test. We will start class at 4:50, and class will end at 6:15.
