Most people call it luck because they only notice the final moment.

They see the opportunity, the introduction, the relationship, the business deal, the random conversation that changed everything.

They don’t see the hundreds of small decisions that put someone in the room where it could happen.

Luck needs surface area.

New places create new encounters.

New conversations create new information.

New skills create new opportunities.

New projects create new connections.

New experiences create new versions of YOU.

Meanwhile, repeating the exact same week for five years gives life almost nothing new to work with.

Same room.

Same route.

Same people.

Same inputs.

Same outcome.

Break the loop.

Leave the house.

Talk to people.

Travel somewhere unfamiliar.

Post the thing.

Send the message.

Build something.

Accept more invitations.

Put yourself in situations where something unexpected CAN happen.

You cannot control luck.

But you can massively increase the number of times luck gets a chance to find you.

Hype people up, even when part of you thinks they might fail.

Your doubt does nothing for them. They will meet enough people in this world who tell them to be realistic, lower their expectations and stay where they are. Do not become another voice making them smaller.

Sometimes people are one conversation away from attempting the thing that changes their entire life. One person believing in them can create enough momentum to expose abilities nobody knew were there. You do not always know what someone is capable of before they are forced to find out themselves.

Be the person who adds courage instead of subtracting it. Push your friends to apply, build, train, travel, create and take the chance. If they fail, they learn. If they succeed, you helped unlock something. Give strength to those you care about.
