Lyrical for your expressive teen? Ballet for yourself? Ormao Dance Company offers all these and more for beginners to professional dancers. We highly value creativity and expression and truly believe that dance is for everyone! Ormao Dance Company is special because:
• We make dance FUN! This enhances the learning process.

Inspired by Tim Burton’s, 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', Ormao Student Company dancers become ghouls, goblins, and characters of the season. What would happen if Halloween and Christmas collided? Another week of fabulous instructors, including a very special GUEST INSTRUCTOR Liberty Styles! Schedule your drop-in through your online portal!

Liberty Styles (they/them) is a tap dancer, electronic musician, and performer based in NYC. Their research engages with histories of tap dance and q***r performance art, drawing connections between embodied rhythm, nightlife, and experimental sound as sites of memory, mischief, survival, and futurity.
Liberty produces and performs in sold-out NYC events that bring in collaborators to explore the intersection of tap dance and drag performance. Liberty has toured Europe several times as a tap soloist alongside artists including Xhosa Cole, Edi May, and Zyggurat. Liberty works regularly as a dancer and musician with Ayodele Casel, Michela Lerman, Orlando Hernández, Naomi Funaki, and Ian Berg. Other stage credits include the Guggenheim, New York City Center, The Joyce Theater, and the Apollo Theater. Their work has been mentioned in The New York Times, Jazzwise, and Billboard.
