Alan Alda and Mike Farrell got together earlier today and toasted the 50th Anniversary of MASH. Per Alda: "Mike Farrell and I today toasting the 50th anniversary of the show that changed our lives - and our brilliant pals who made it what it was. MASH was a great gift to us."

Robert Houdek was visiting his friend in the hospital room. Houdek recounts the story from the passenger seat of a car that winds through the local mountains that he knows maybe better than anyone alive:

Happy Easter to all of you! What an awesome day to get out , hike, and explore the Pikes Peak Region. We didn't see the Easter Bunny, or find any eggs today... But a great day all the same.

The spring time change has occurred, the days are getting longer, and the weather is getting warmer.... you know what that means? Yep! Pikes Peak Atlas map sales are increasing almost daily. Another HUGE thanks to all of our loyal customers. We love to see you on the trails!

70+ degrees in Colorado Springs today. We enjoy our winter hikes, but there is something about those first warm days of the year that really stir the blood and make us crave some hiking time in the mountains. See ya all out on the trails soon!

The days are getting longer... The weather is getting warmer... The snowy season is hopefully not over yet, because the mountains sure need more moisture, but the map orders are increasing, so we hope that means more folks are getting back out and enjoying the Pikes Peak outdoor regions. :)

Well, Life is good! The Manitou Incline is all cleaned up and reopen. No hiking for me for the next day or so.... too cold for this old man. Salutes to those of you more dedicated than me. Hot coffee and a warm wood stove for me. :)
