Hello and Happy Motivation Monday! Lately, I’ve noticed how often I move through my days believing I need to anticipate everything, because if I stay one step ahead it will keep things from going wrong. But more often than not, it turns into a hyper-awareness that keeps me in a constant state of control, where even neutral moments feel like something I have to manage. I’ve been sitting with what it might look like to loosen that grip, and to trust that doing so isn’t the same as being careless (because it’s NOT lol). There’s also a lot to be said for living inside my life, not just being ahead of it. And when I do that it reveals what was already stable by itself, and the things that don’t fit as well anymore. It comes down to believing that I am capable. And you are, too, whether or not it feels like it. This week, notice one moment where you feel the urge to mentally “get ahead”. Instead, let the moment unfold without interference. Pay attention to what holds, what continues, what doesn’t fall apart. Love always, Tish ❤️

Hello and Happy Motivation Monday! I’ve noticed how easy it is to choose restraint over enjoyment just because it feels more “right” or disciplined. That kind of self-denial can feel validating, like I’m proving that I can push through discomfort, but there’s no reward waiting on the other side of making life harder than it needs to be. We start believing that choosing the difficult option makes us more worthy, when really, small joys don’t need to be earned or justified. Discipline matters, but it doesn’t have to come at the cost of fully experiencing life or enjoying simple pleasures. You’re allowed to do things just because they feel good, not because they improve or optimize you. This week, notice where you’re equating difficulty with value, and consider what might change if you let something be easier. Love, Tish ❤️
