Big shoutout to Catamount 10U — made it to the ship and finished it off with a Dawg Days Championship win! 🏆⚾️
We are a new baseball club for competitive youth baseball players in Colorado Springs. Catamounts Baseball started with two high school age club teams in the summer of 2019 and now we are excited to announce that we will be forming youth teams. For the summer of 2020, we will have teams competing at the 9U, 10U, 11U, 13U & 14U level.
The vision is to create a club that competes regionally/nationally and provides a local alternative to the clubs in Denver. We believe there is enough talent in the city of Colorado Springs to compete with these clubs and at a reduced cost with practices held locally.
The Catamount director of coaching is UCCS assistant baseball coach Josh Larrinaga. (Catamount is another name for mountain lion, the UCCS mascot). Players and coaches from UCCS will serve as guest instructors for clinics and some youth practices.
