🏀 The road to LA28 is becoming clearer.

The LA28 Paralympic competition schedule by event is now available, giving fans and athletes the clearest look yet at when and how Wheelchair Basketball will be played at the 2028 Paralympic Games.

As the National Governing Body for Wheelchair Basketball in the United States, the NWBA is proud to support the pathway to the world’s biggest stage. 🇺🇸

Wheelchair Basketball will once again span the entirety of the Paralympic Games with 30 sessions scheduled from August 16–27, 2028 — including one of the final events of the Games: the women’s gold medal game.

María rediscovered confidence and purpose through wheelchair basketball after a car accident.

With support from a CAF Grant for an RGK Wheelchairs Elite Basketball Chair, she continues competing in the NWBA and representing adaptive sport internationally.

The NWBA community mourns the loss of one of our own.
