In case you might not have heard...The Boulder Valley Velodrome is closed at this time... Here is the official statement.

Hello Everyone

We are sorry to report that we'll have to stop riding the Boulder Valley Velodrome until we get our certificate of occupancy. The Town of Erie informed us today that we can not use the velodrome until we complete the Bonnell Ave access and our parking lot. They are essential for our first responders (the fire department). Those elements are in progress and we will have them completed soon. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to having all of you on the track. We understand that the timing of this is very unfortunate for BRAC Track Racing - Colorado Cup & State Championships but we must complete the work prior to any racing being held. We will keep you updated on our progress and we look forward to seeing you soon. Feel free to contact us with any questions.

Now the Good News....

The USOC Memorial Park Velodrome in Colorado Springs will be hosting the CO State Track Championship events over the next two weekends. A full schedule will be sent out tomorrow but please share and let everyone know that RACING WILL HAPPEN!!!!!

BOULDER+VALLEY+VELODROME+UPDATE! But the support facilities must be completed before we can receive the go ahead from the Town of Erie to race at the new facility. 

We are sorry to announce that we have had to cancel this year’s U.S. Grand Prix of Sprinting event, scheduled for July 12-13 at the Colorado Springs Velodrome.

We apologize for the cancellation, especially to those of you who may have already begun travel plans. Unfortunately, the situation was beyond our control but we intend to make next year’s US Grand Prix of Sprinting even more spectacular so I hope you can join us then.

The airlines lost the track bicycle of Jose Aguirre of Mexico. He is registered to ride the US Grand Prix of Sprinting Omnium tomorrow morning. If you have or know of a 54cm Track Bike in good condition let us know. The team will use their own wheels, etc. But he came here to race not spectate. Thanks to all for any help!!
