Well, lots have happened here at Dani Leeโ€™s Horsemanship.
Mary had her foal last year. YouCantSitWithUs aka Spitty is almost a year old!!
We added another dog to our house.
Lucky is living his best life and he is rideable. Still deal with tantrums. But he is getting there.
Ponyboy is goofy as heck. We love him.
Sassy is wellโ€ฆ. Sassy. Still barrel racing. No signs of her wanting to retire. Still acts like a youngin.
I went to horse shoeing school last year and have been practicing since.

We have also officially moved to Colorado. We found 40 acres and a beautiful house on it. We love it!!
You are mostly caught up.
I may be potentially taking in clients for some ground work. Or traveling to clients as well. So stay tuned!

Sassy is styling in her new set made by https://www.facebook.com/WesternMommaDesigns/ can't wait to get out and barrel race in it. I'm in love. ๐Ÿ˜ I literally cried because it was hand made and painted by my best friend. It is so beautiful.

Here is my little rescue I am fostering. Got him yesterday. He is a little yearling. Thinking Tennessee Walker he is looking for a permanent home. I am currently going to start his halter training as he is untouched. If you are interested in this little cutie contact Lori Westman Bohn more information as I start to work with him. And expect lots of updates.

Well lots of news here at Dani Lee's Horsemanship. 1 I sold Lucky a month ago. I decided I wanted to get more into barrel racing. He doesn't have the mind for it. 2, I bought a beautiful thoroughbred mare name Tee Time Mary. Who was no longer able to ride due to a fractured sesamoid. So, she was bred to a stud who I've been in love with for years! She was confirmed yesterday in foal. And I got Lucky back. It wasn't working out at his new place so they gave him back to me. Good thing because I was missing my boy. First 3 are of the new mare and then my boy in the last 2. He is never going anywhere again. I missed my butthead mustang.

And now, 3 years later and Lucky and Sassy are finally not fighting and being jealous of the other. Just a year ago they bent some panels fighting so bad. Now, they are grooming each other. ๐Ÿ˜

Sassy and PonyBoy are finally friends. A year of fighting over the fence and they are finally over it lol.
Wanted to add, please ignore the halter, it was on only a couple of minutes so I could move her into this pen. It came off as soon as I saw they were good together.

Who else has a dog to ride with? I love having Tuff dog as a riding partner.

Playing with ponyboy. He was having a blast running around in a semi dry field. What a good looking boy. Don't mind him being dirty he rolled before these pictures. Bratty boy.

Ponyboy has grown sooooo much! He has filled out nicely. He had quite a few gangly stages this fall. But he has finally evened out. He says he can't wait to get to riding next year! This guy has been so much fun to play with. We call him Fabio sometimes because of his pretty flaxen mane.

What you see, a horse checking out the foot of a rider... what you don't see is I had no choice. Ponyboy is extremely smart. He has been watching sassy and I work like a hawk. He is very intrigued by what we do. Lately I climb over the fence to get his bucket for his supplements. And almost every time he aides up with the panels and I'll lay on him, put my foot on him just pick on him. Well today he didn't move. He sat there while I put my leg over him a few times expecting him to leave. He didn't. I drug my leg over his butt. Nothing. He can leave. Obviously, he has no halter on. I put my leg over to the other side once more left it there longer and slowly sat on him. And he sat there like "ok mom, now what??" I patted him told him good boy and got off in which he let me pass to get his bucket. This was a huge feat for me. I have been saying I wanted to start a horse ba****ck... granted I figured a halter would be in there somewhere lol. Just goes to show they have the schedule. I had no intention of even working him tonight. This little guy has helped me so much. He has instilled so much of my confidence by showing me how. By showing me that I need to just let go of my accident. Slowly but surely he is helping me instill confidence in myself. I'm so glad I decided to keep you PonyBoy.
