🩰Sparkle Dance Workshops 2026🩰
Pack your bag and grab your gear: our Summer Sparkle Classes are here! These fun-filled days of themed tap, ballet and acro dance: bring a friend, grab your teddy and let’s head on our way! We’ll visit magical places and swim at the beach. Join us for dance, crafts, storytime and some treats!

🌟Last Day of Classes!🌟
Today is the last day of classes for out Secondary & Pre-Professional dancers! The studio will be closed for a 2-week Summer Break from May 24-June 7.
We look forward to seeing our families again on Monday, June 8, when our Primary Division classes will resume and our Summer 2026 Classes, Workshops and Intensives begin!😎

🌻Meet The Cast Of Appalachian Spring!🌻
Meet our lead characters, the Pioneer Woman (Madelyn LaPorte), the Bride (Katie Hill) & the Preacher (Ford Tackett)! Check out their bios below👇
🌾Madelyn LaPorte- Madelyn LaPorte, is a Junior at Palmer Ridge and has trained at Colorado Ballet Society since 2019. Maddy is a member of the Colorado Youth Ballet, Connexus Dance Collective, and the Competition Ensemble. She is a scholarship recipient with the annual Esther Geoffrey competition through Dance Aliiance of the Pike’s Peak Region. Previous favorite roles include her lead role as Cinderella(Charles Maple Cinderella), Arabian(Nutcracker), and Carabosse(Sleeping Beauty). Her future ambitions include achieving a college degree and dancing professionally with a focus in Contemporary Dance.
🌾Katie Hill - Katie Hill is 16 and a Sophomore at the Village High School. She has been dancing at Colorado Ballet Society for 12 years and is grateful for the opportunity to perform with CBS. In her fifth year with the Colorado Youth Ballet and Conexus Dance Collective, Katie has enjoyed previous performances as a Stepsister, Caraboss Attendant, and Lead Seguidilla. Katie is an Esther Geoffrey scholarship recipient and has been given the opportunity to represent CBS in multiple ballet competitions. Outside of dance she enjoys reading, playing violin, and anything stage related. She thanks everyone who has helped her become the dancer she is today and can’t wait to continue growing in her career.
🌾Ford Tackett - Ford is delighted to be performing the role of the Preacher in Appalachian Spring. He has had the privilege of dancing many significant roles throughout his career, but this one is especially meaningful due to its character, the history of this amazing work, and the talented people involved. He is grateful to Colorado Ballet Society for allowing him this opportunity.
