We had SO much fun getting out on the water today with some amazing families for our Roots to Peaks adventure! Watching families laugh, explore, work together, and make memories was exactly what we hoped for. 💙

Our first Roots to Peaks Adventure Day was a great success! 🌿

Seeing so many happy kids and smiling parents enjoying the day together made all the hard work worth it. Thank you to our incredible volunteers and the families who joined us and the amazing Hillside staff, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo zoo mobile team and Costco for partnering with us for the event. We can’t wait for the next adventure this fall!

Want to make a difference in a child's life while spending time with some fun outdoor activities and animals? Join us for our Roots to Peaks event on Saturday, June 27th at Hillside Community Center in COS.

We'll be helping kids ages 6–12 build confidence, make new friends, and experience the outdoors through fun activities and adventure. Cheyenne Mountain's ZOOMobile Group will have some fun animals to meet. Whether you're an experienced outdoor enthusiast or simply have a heart for serving youth, we'd love to have you on our team.

Volunteer Requirements:
✅ Complete a background check through Checkr before being approved to volunteer.
✅ Have a positive attitude and a desire to encourage and support our participants.
