This weekend is more than an extra day off.
We honor Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
A day of remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives in service — and a moment to pause in gratitude for the freedoms, safety, and opportunities we often move through quickly.
Memorial Day carries both heaviness and perspective.
It reminds us how precious life is.
How fleeting time can be.
And how deeply peace matters.
In a world that constantly pulls our attention outward, stepping onto your mat can become an act of returning inward.
Not to escape the world —
but to reconnect with steadiness inside of it.
Inner peace doesn’t mean the world is perfect.
It means creating moments where your nervous system can exhale. It means you can hold space for the messy parts of life with more grace.

I return to myself without judgment.

Maybe it’s overwhelm.
Maybe it’s exhaustion.
Maybe it’s the inner critic whispering that you’ve fallen behind.
Maybe life simply became too full.
But your practice was never asking for perfection.
It was only ever asking for your presence.
This week, notice what’s creating distance between you and yourself — not with shame, but with curiosity.
What keeps you away from your mat?
And what might happen if you returned gently instead of waiting to feel “ready”?
Your breath still knows the way back.
Your body still welcomes you home.

I honor the season I am in, while gently welcoming what’s next.
This week holds so many thresholds—
the tenderness after Mother’s Day,
the anticipation before graduation,
the shifting skies of late spring,
the quiet excitement of summer waiting just ahead.
Everything feels in motion.
Not fully here. Not fully gone.
Let this week be about allowing.
Allowing change without rushing it.
Allowing emotion without needing to organize it.
Allowing joy and uncertainty to sit together.
Nature is doing the same thing right now—
wind one day, warmth the next, blossoms becoming fruit.
