200 followers may not sound like much in the grand scheme of social media, but to me it’s a pretty cool milestone.

When I started Panda On The Lanes, I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d ever get beyond 25 people following along. It was just a fun idea that let me combine bowling, creativity, and a little bit of my personality into something unique.

Since then, it’s grown into so much more than I ever expected. I’ve made new friends, developed partnerships, created the Panda-Verse, started helping with my local pro shop, and found an amazing community that supports not only my bowling journey, but everything else I share along the way.

Life is definitely more complicated these days than when I first started this page. Between a new career, horses, dogs, family, bowling, content creation, and everything else in between, I don’t post quite as often as I used to.

But don’t worry… this panda isn’t done yet. 🐼

There are some really exciting things in the works, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you.

🎳🐼 Day 1 of the Two-Handed Journey 🐼🎳

Yesterday marked the official start of something I’ve been talking about for months — my transition to two-handed bowling.

I also got my new SWAG Craze Pearl drilled up and ready to go. Huge thank you to Shane at Get-A-Grip Pro Shop for not only punching the ball, but also giving me my first lesson and helping lay the foundation for what’s ahead.

The good news? There were a few shots that showed exactly why I’m making this switch.

The bad news? Let’s just say there were plenty of reminders that I’m basically starting over. 😅

That’s okay.

I’ve always believed growth happens when you’re willing to be uncomfortable, learn something new, and put your ego aside. This journey is going to have plenty of ups, downs, successes, frustrations, and probably a few moments where I question my sanity.

But that’s exactly why I’m excited to document it.

My goal isn’t just to become a two-handed bowler. It’s to show what consistent effort, coaching, and determination can accomplish over time.

Day 1 is in the books.

Now it’s time for Day 2.

Lyric is really starting to come around.

For those who don’t know, Lyric is one of the rescue horses we took in — an 11 month old c**t with a ton of potential and a really thoughtful mind once you slow down enough to listen to him.

One thing we’ve learned pretty quickly is that too much pressure just doesn’t work for him. He can get a little overwhelmed at times, but what I really love about him is that he never mentally checks out. He stays curious, engaged, and willing to keep trying — and I think that’s a really strong quality in a young horse.

Yesterday I decided to try a different approach.

I sat on the mounting block, held the halter, and just let him exist around me. No chasing. No forcing. Just letting him get curious and comfortable on his own terms.

By the end of it, I was able to pet the side of his face a little and touch his neck — which is usually where he gets the most worried. The really cool part though? Even when he’d move away, he would circle right back. Still engaged. Still curious. Still wanting to learn and test things out.

That told me a lot.

I honestly think there’s going to be something really special about him once he gains confidence and trust. Both of his parents are beautiful horses and I think Lyric is going to mature into a solid ~15 hand gelding that could make someone an amazing partner.

We are planning to find him the right home eventually, so if anyone is seriously interested in meeting him, getting pictures, or asking questions, feel free to send me a message. We’d be happy to talk more about him and make sure he finds the right fit. 🐴

Honestly… this might be the most accurate representation of my life lately 😅

Bowling. Surgery. Horses. Coffee. Content creation. Partnerships. Late nights. Big ideas. Trying to improve at everything while still making time for the people and animals I care about most.

What’s funny about these AI trends is that while they’re exaggerated, there’s usually some truth hidden in them too. The little details, the chaos, the personality, the passions — it’s all there.

The Panda-Verse started as a fun idea, but it’s slowly become a creative way to tell the story of this journey and the people around me who’ve helped shape it.
