Columbia Rugby qualified for the National Tournament in Austin, Texas, last weekend.

This is a huge deal for these guys and an opportunity that only comes once or twice in a lifetime.

They need to raise a significant amount of money in a short amount of time.

In 1994 I was a sophomore at Clemson University. I was homesick, my grades were suffering, and I was struggling to find my place.

One rainy day I was walking across campus and ran into a friend from home. He was covered from head to toe in mud. but he had a grin on his face from ear to ear.

That grin made a life changing impression on me. I asked my friend what he had been doing and he told me he was coming from rugby practice. The next week I attended my first practice.

Clemson Rugby changed my life. They are the reason I turned my grades around and graduated from college. They are part of some of the best memories of my life. They became my family.

Clemson Rugby has been turning boys into great men for over 50 years. I was one of those boys.

We have a very important zoning meeting 2/7/23 - 4:00 PM - Planning Commission meets at City Hall, 3rd floor, Council Chambers, 1737 Main Street

This is the meeting where we need to show community support. So we need as many people as possible to attend and give a short speech showing support of the project.
