🌞️First Day of Inventor Tales = A Success!

We kicked off Inventor Tales Summer 📖 Camp with an amazing first day! Each day our campers will explore a different inventor and how their creativity has shaped the world we live in. Today our campers jumped right into hands‑on STEM projects, reading, and of course plenty of fun and games. I’m so excited for the incredible summer ahead with this great group of kids!

🌞📚 Inventor Tales Summer Reading Camp — Spots Still Open!

This year’s theme is Inventor Tales. Our young readers will explore famous inventors, simple machines, and hands‑on STEM challenges. Campers will also participate in engaging reading activities, invention building, teamwork, and plenty of movement games and interaction with friends throughout the day.

✨️Today we wrapped up the year with a big celebration of our students’ hard work. There were challenges, there were tears, and there was so much growth. They persevered and now we’re finally here. I couldn’t be more proud of each of them. Summer here we come!🌞☀️⛱️

Today the students presented their Ocean Animal Science Projects, and they did a great job! I’m so proud of the hard work and growth they’ve shown all year long.

Now we’re looking forward to celebrating an incredible year together this Thursday at our End‑of‑Year Celebration.🥰🎉🥳

Today was our final book sharing of the year. We also closed out the week with popcorn and a movie! 🍿

The kids also had a hands‑on look at how octopus and other cephalopods zoom through the water using jet propulsion.

Such a fun way to end a rainy week. Just three more weeks to go!🥰

🌼 We’re officially on spring break, but not before finishing the week with a bang!

🎨 Art + Science Outdoors
With the beautiful weather, we took our Art/Science time outside. The students used their creativity to design their own ocean collages, exploring the wide range of colors you can find when you look at the ocean—from deep blues to sandy tans, from bright greens of algae to the soft hues of sea grass.

We also enjoyed a fun game of Helicopter in PE.

It was a joy‑filled day, and the perfect way to wrap up our week.
