Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I am completely humbled by the outpouring of support and love from those that came and shopped my closing sale. This community totally exceeded my expectations of appreciation for this bike mechanic. I'll see you in the next chapter...

It’s with a very heavy heart that I announce the closing of the shop. It is hard to believe that it's been almost 19 years! The past 2 years though have proven that the current business model is no longer sustainable and the overhead to operate in my current location is too high. Bicycle sales are as bad as I can remember and I am finding it impossible to do enough repairs in a day to make this work. Blame it on our post Covid world in general, the supply chain issues the past couple of years, the current economy and lack of consumer demand, the attractiveness of online shopping for parts & cheap E-bikes, an increase in competition for used inventory, a changing bicycle retail landscape, retail burnout on my part, or some combination of it all. The main objective is to cut overhead, cut stress and move away from a traditional retail store front.

I will remain open at least through November and plan to be out of my current location at the end of the year. All New Bikes are now discounted to liquidate remaining inventory. Accessories and some Parts will be on sale too (some limitations apply). Used inventory is already inexpensive. Many project bikes for the DIY types will be available. All sales are final. More sale info will follow in the days and weeks to come.

I am taking this time and considering all of my options. I may reemerge in a much smaller, repair only capacity. I suppose time will tell. For now though, I must pull the plug on my existing operation so I can better assess my situation. Thank you all so much for the support over the past 18+ years.
