So proud of Nolan. Our 9th grader took TWO BIG CHARGES against grown men in the last few minutes of the today' game to help secure a 66-60 victory. Our Providence Panthers Varsity Boys finished the week at 11th Place at East Coast Nationals!

I want to congratulate my son Rex for a fantastic year in school basketball and share a YouTube video of some of his highlights. Rex, only a 7th grader, played up on my Providence JV Team with 9thh & 10th graders and became a starter by game 5. How did that work out? Rex went on to knock down 46/110 threes, an amazing 42%.
And he was much more than a shooter. He was 2nd on the team only to his big brother Nolan with 43 assists. He loves passing to get teammates scores as well. Foul him? He’s our team leader from the FT line making 38/53 for 72% from the line.

Lastly, how did he play in the State Tournament?
FT= 100 % (7/7)
FG = 12/20 = 60%
3 PT = 14/31 = 49%
PTS = 18 PPG

With that, Rex was named to the Palmetto Championships JV All-Tourney Team! Proud dad and coach!
