Calling all crafters, makers and artisans! Our annual Fall Craft Fair at Seven Oaks Park is coming up on September 19, and vendor spaces are still available! If you create handmade crafts, unique gifts, seasonal décor or other artisan goods, we’d love to have you be part of the fair.

Vendor Spaces:

• Double Space w/ 1 table: $55

🀄 A new Mahjong group is starting at Seven Oaks Park this Friday, September 4! The new group will meet on Friday afternoons from 12:30–3:00 p.m. Bring your own tile set and card for an afternoon of strategy, conversation and connection. All skill levels are welcome!

🎷Our Fall-ing for Jazz series kicks off next Friday, September 11, at Saluda Shoals Park! Enjoy an evening of live jazz on the brand-new deck at the Woodland Center, featuring the Robert Gardiner Super Cool Jazz Sextet with vocalists Kristi Hood and Edwin Hamilton.

Congratulations to our very own Jessie Jackson as the Central District Merit Award recipient! The Central District Merit Award honors individuals who have exemplified exceptional leadership, impactful community programming, or significant contributions to the park and recreation field. Jessie is our Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator and we’re so proud of her and grateful for all she does for ICRC and our community. Congratulations Jessie!

Board Member Spotlight: Sharon Mann
We are proud to highlight Sharon Mann, a dedicated and valued member of the Saluda Shoals Foundation Board for over six years!

A CPA by profession, Sharon brought her financial expertise to the board after serving as Chief Financial Officer for GIS in Chapin. Following GIS’s merger with HireRight in 2019, she transitioned into consulting, continuing to lend her talents to organizations that matter.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sharon enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking. She also gives generously of her time by volunteering on several nonprofit boards.

We’re grateful for Sharon’s steady leadership, financial insight, and commitment to our mission at Saluda Shoals Park!
