Our Veterans Picnic is our way of helping our Wounded Warriors. Our men and women are coming home needing a helping hand to get back on their feet.
For info call or stop by the Veterans Service Office in the Old Training School/Marion County BusinessPlex We raise money for Mississippi's wounded veterans. 100% of the proceeds go to the veteran. Also, we can show our veterans that we appreciate their service. Veterans Day is a time to show the living veterans that we know they bridged the gap between our enemies and us.

It’s not looking good for this year’s Picnic. Nether the local VFW nor the American Legion want to be the 501(C) so we can collect money.

This Saturday, September 11th, Cruisin the Pearl 2021 will be held at the Columbia Water Park. Car Show, Military Displays, Craft Vendors, Pancake Breakfast and a Chili Cookoff is planned. There will be a Jumper and Slide for the kids. Come out and help Support Mississippi’s Wounded Warriors and the Fire Department. This September 11th will mark the 20th anniversary of the attack on the Twin Tower’s in New York
