The Mitten Kittens —Team Michigan’s offshoot pickup crew of Michigan skaters—hit the road tonight to take on Kalamazoo in their home bout in Paw Paw.

Huge thanks to Kalamazoo for hosting us and making it such a fun, welcoming night of derby! We certainly prefer PLAYING WITH you all on the track as our teammates, but what wonderful athletes you all are.

MVP honors went to fan favorite El Toro, jammer Siren Song, and blocker B***y Vicious!

WFTDA Playoffs coming to Lansing Roller Derby (Michigan) this May!

WFTDA is happy to announce that we've confirmed the dates and location for a fourth 2026 WFTDA Playoff tournament in North America. Lansing Roller Derby will host May 29-31, 2026 in Lansing, Michigan. As mentioned in our previous announcement of the 2026 Postseason Tournament dates and locations, with one of the North America tournaments taking place in Canada, WFTDA has made an adjustment to add an additional fourth tournament in the United States, in order to guarantee qualifying North American teams the ability to attend a Postseason event without having to face hardship due to current US passport and immigration policies.
